For the past 20 years, I have helped individuals and couples to change behaviors, build satisfying relationships and develop healthier lifestyles. Most clients who work with me begin to experience changes in just a few sessions. One of my key strengths is quickly determining your root issue and helping you begin to make changes. I maintain a clear focus on goals and will provide you with practical suggestions to help you achieve them. My aim is to help you find ways to support yourself, particularly in those areas where your needs seem to conflict with others'. Though I have a general practice, my specialty areas are working with relationship issues, depression and anxiety, addictions and parenting issues. Through my training and private practice experience in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have worked with ethnically, economically, and sexually diverse populations. I offer both short-term and long-term therapy. My style is dynamic and interactive and I offer a safe and non-judgmental environment to explore your issues. I welcome the opportunity to meet you in a free telephone consultation: (805) 962-1129.
"Therapy can help you increase your self-confidence, take charge of your life, improve your relationships and cope better with life stresses."
